(and they couldn't be used in dungeon adventures!). I've made my peace with cavalry and found they can be very useful.

I liked dragoons even less - as you had to have a mounted AND dismounted versions in the original rules I played with as a young lad!? What teenager had money for THAT in the 80's!? I like Pikeman's Lament take on dragoons - field a mix of mounted and dismounted. For DBA-X it's just suggested to have the dismounted versions - but as I use deeper bases than suggested I thought I'd use the deep cavalry bases have a screen of dismounted fellows in from and a horse holder with a horse behind. timhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09928949644765765070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9140646711960604590.post-86939612790632660572017-03-21T08:41:47.825-07:002017-03-21T08:41:47.825-07:00Thanks Paddy! I'm not terribly concerned about winning/not winning - I'm quite sure I won't. If I'm dead last, I'm dead last. I have a feeling I won't, but if I am, I'm not that concerned. But a pile of people will see my miniatures and maybe I'll make some new online friends...? timhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09928949644765765070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9140646711960604590.post-85028821204462975362017-03-21T08:27:18.575-07:002017-03-21T08:27:18.575-07:00Thanks Ray!Thanks Ray!timhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09928949644765765070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9140646711960604590.post-81231085362643332772017-03-21T08:27:03.079-07:002017-03-21T08:27:03.079-07:00Merci, Phil!Merci, Phil!timhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09928949644765765070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9140646711960604590.post-27606956478650763012017-03-21T02:46:21.911-07:002017-03-21T02:46:21.911-07:00He looks great, got to get my ECW cavalry done, af...He looks great, got to get my ECW cavalry done, after I've based all my Italian wars stuff, so 300 or so infantry and 8 artillery pieces. ..!
Best Iain caveadsum1471https://www.blogger.com/profile/02174163740406928172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9140646711960604590.post-47802360261725075452017-03-21T01:36:10.016-07:002017-03-21T01:36:10.016-07:00LPL!
