That's part of the curse of living in such an expansive country. There's quite a few gamers in Canada but sometimes the distances between us can be daunting.

I think, to quote a movie, if you build it, they will come. Of course, there's nothing preventing you from recycling the units for the next two years. There's Passchendaele and the 100 days offensive to commemorate as well.

I really hope you get a lot of commitments. I'd love to see the whole thing as an actual game. siggianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12964979635375875224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9140646711960604590.post-22543724658965104052017-01-06T13:58:37.255-08:002017-01-06T13:58:37.255-08:00"Really, I’m just making this shit up as I go..."Really, I’m just making this shit up as I go…"
The only way to fly mate. I don't mind putting in the time and doing the work. Once I get focused on a project I can be highly productive and get a LOT done. It's been more the existential questions of "why am I even doing this!?" and "should I bother?" that have been keeping me from getting laser focused enough to get on with things.

I have definitely considered scrapping the whole thing a number of times in the last few weeks. I may still. The one thing that' been weighing most heavily on my mind is "Will anyone even show up?!" - which is why I recently put out the call to friends and followers to see if there actually was anyone that was planning to show up. (I didn't really expect any blog followers to say they would but I thought I might as well put it out there, just in case). If I can get enough people to commit to showing up in the next week or so I'll probably rock on ahead... otherwise I may just pull the pin on the whole thing.. timhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09928949644765765070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9140646711960604590.post-74961186007058258072017-01-06T08:58:32.558-08:002017-01-06T08:58:32.558-08:00I wonder whether you're daunted by the size of...I wonder whether you're daunted by the size of your Vimy project as you actually get into it and these distractions are trying to tell you that it's too much. I'd love to see the entire project in loving detail but you might be better served by admitting that your ambition is greater than your will and scaling it down a bit.

(Says he who hasn't completed a single figure in months and is only 3 colours and flocking on 30 units away from completing a 3 year long project to complete my 2mm ACW armies)siggianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12964979635375875224noreply@blogger.com
