I’d actually painted this chap up ages ago, before getting on with the Great
War project. I actually finished him up at the same time I painted Jules
and Vincent, but when I went to take a picture of him, I noticed a
huge chunk of paint had been scraped off his lapel leaving shiny bare metal!?
So I left him on the workbench to fix up.
