These are a few things I've finished up over the last few days (or, in one case, weeks) that I haven't gotten to posting yet...
This is an objective marker for 40K. I thought I'd jazz up my objective markers a bit as tokens or a pile of barrels are getting a bit boring...
What's the story here? Why is this wounded Vox-Caster Operator an objective?
Gang reliquary from Necromunda and another objective marker with a reliquary.
I hav a handfull of other Objective Markers on the go - mostly just making use of spare 40mm bases I have from Imperialis, Mechanicus and Mortis zone base sets.
Astropath from Victoria Miniatures. I just LOVE this figure. So much more dynamic than other Astropath figures I have. Can't wait to use her in some sort of narrative Kill Team or necromunda scenario... or Wrath & Glory when I get that going again!
Three more Cawdor gangers. They came in a lot of minis that were missing guns and hands or barrels and such - so these are all slight conversions.
Escape pods from the Kill Team: Rogue Trader box. Mostly used contrast paints to knock these out quickly. They look... not terrible...? Better than not being painted at all!
Not newly painted, but new bases... I decided to rebase my chaos stuff - starting with the Chaos Space Marines. The reason to do these was mostly because I thought I'd look nice having the Chaos Cultists all on fancy bases to match the rest of the Necromunda gangs... I started with these guys because I have LOADS of the 32mm bases, but ran out of 25mm bases again.
Coming Soon to Tim's Miniature Wargaming Blog:
I have a few posts on the go with all-new pics of the Escher, Delaque, Cawdor, and Remptionist gangs. They're taking a bit longer than expected, because I decided to write a bit of fluff for each of the gangers...
I also got started on some VanSaar gangers and other assorted 40K/Blackstone Fortress minis...
Also, Sunday evening, Orion came over to try out Necromunda, so I should have a short report of that game at some point in the not-too-distant future.
Your objective marker showing the wounded weapons’ operator is a great idea and well executed. Inspiring!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jonathan!
DeleteGreat looking objective markers, nice looking gangers and chaos marines but the astro path is something special!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thanks, Iain!
DeleteI know, right? I liked it so much I bought TWO - but then Keira liked it so much, I kind of ended up having to give one to her... Which is fine, I'm not sure how I'd have painted the other and what benefit there would be to HAVING two!?
Lots of cool pieces! Nice work! I especially like the astropath, too (my first thought was she reminds me of the blind "the force is with me" guy from Star Wars (Rogue One).
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'd just about forgotten everything about that movie... had to really think about it to remember who you were referring to. But, yeah, I can see that!
