Well done them, 30 years is a good milestone to hit especially in these modern times of online shopping, some nice purchases and indeed considerable restraint shown!
ReplyDeleteIt is quite the feat indeed! They've done a really good job of building community over the decades. The gaming area in the back is as big (or bigger) than the store itself, and there is stuff going on there just about every night of the week. Really good about supporting local conventions and tournaments and leagues.

I had planned on stocking up on Green Stuff for making more cobble/flag stone bases... but apparently others had the same idea and they were out of it...
DeleteThere were a few other things I considered... but they were mostly things in the discount bin, that were already 40% off and there was no further discount for the anniversary sale... so I figured I could leave them for another time...
I was also tempted to pick up Flamme Rouge... a Bicycle racing board game that I've played and is really fun... but then didn't.
(And the sale is still on until Tuesday... so... I could always GO BACK FOR MORE?!).
