Warhammer Underworlds - Ylthari's Guardians

 I've had these for almost FOUR YEARS. Picked them up shortly after I started playing Direchasm. I assembled and primed them right away... and then they sat... 

Partly because Ylthari's base very definitely should be painted BEFORE assembling!!! Partly because... just didn't get to them. Eventually I cut the miniature off the base, painted the base, and then reattached the miniature and painted the rest. 

I started painting them while working on the Sylvaneth Spearhead Army... but didn't quite get them finished and they languished again for a bit... 

Then the new edition came out and I thought I'd get these ready to play - as they are one of the warbands that I was expecting to get printed cards for this past weekend in the Warbands of Embergard card set... but then didn't because the store didn't get any and now I have to wait until they are reprinted (or more stock is shipped to North America?) 

Anyway... they are done for whenever I get the cards...

Amanda saw then sitting out on the table and got really excited about the miniatures and said she'd really like to try them out... so not only do I have to wait until I get cards for them... then I'll have to wait until Amanda's tried them out and tired of them! 

ALL THE SYLVANETH! 

I still have just a handful left to paint - five Spite-Revenants, and five more Tree-Revenants (and, I suppose, there is Skaeth's Wild Hunt...). The Revenants are on my workbench and I'd really like to finish them up as then I'll be DONE one collection of Age of Sigmar miniatures... even if it's only temporarily... 

(I would like to pick up five more Spite-Revenants as there is a Sylvaneth Regiment of Renown - THE LOST-SONG SPIRITS - Consisting of a Treelord and ten Spite-Revenants, that can be fielded in Nighthaunt or Soulblight Gravelord armies!!)
