I did not have a lot of things for the Maggotkin of Nurgle... It all started with Wurmspat - the Warhammer Underworlds Warband... and for a long time, that was it...
Then, on a whim, I decided to pick up a Lord of Plagues... I thought maybe they could be used in Soulbound (the role-playing game) as some encounter in a nasty foetid swamp in Ghyran...?
I later added a unit of Plaguebearers... Also with Soulbound in mind.
Then I picked up a Maggotkin of Nurgle Bleak Host Spearhead force...
Then for Tanksgiving in 2025 I picked up a Great Unclean One - and while I was at it, picked up the Shudderblight Cyst Battleforce Box...
Soon there will be all the stuff from Warhammer Quest: Darkwater...

Wurmspat - one of my favourite Warhammer Underworlds warbands. The Warhammer Underworlds warbands, which used to be playable in Age of Sigmar, are kind of being phased out in this edition and joining "Legends". There are stats available for them - as a pdf download - but they're not really playable in matched play or other organized play...

THE PLAN
The plan, as with all the other Age of Sigmar forces, is to first finish the Spearhead, so I have something to play with... then possibly fill out a 1000 point army for regular Age of Sigmar/Paths to Glory.
Whenever Warhammer Quest: Darkwater is released, finishing up enough of the nurgle forces to play will become priority #1.
SPEARHEAD
As with most Age of Sigmar armies, the first step is to paint up the stuff for a Spearhead army.

There are some cool-looking units available...
I do like their faction terrain - the feculent gnarlmaw. I have no idea what it does in the game... but it looks kind of weird, so I'd like to get one at some point. I've kind of wanted one for ages - just to have as some weird terrain. Should have gotten it ages ago, when it was, like, half the price it is now!!
