Just because I have a page for ALL THE OTHER Chaos armies... I figured I might as well have one for the Maggotkin of Nurgle...
I do not have a lot of things for the Maggotkin of Nurgle... It all started with Wurmspat - the Warhammer Underworlds Warband... and for a long time, that was it... then I decided, on a whim, to pick up a Lord of Plagues... I thought maybe they could be used in Soulbound (the role-playing game) as some encounter in a nasty foetid swamp in Ghyran...?

Wurmspat - one of my favourite Warhammer Underworlds warbands. The Warhammer Underworlds warbands, which used to be playable in Age of Sigmar, are kind of being phased out in this edition and joining "Legends". There are stats available for them - as a pdf download - but they're not really playable in matched play or other organized play...
Still to Do
I basically just have the Spearhead army to do.. .

- 5x Putrid Blightkings
- 10x Plaguebearers
(I'll probably build one of those Pusgoyle Blightlords as a Lord of Affliction and just call it a well armoured Pusgoyle Blightlord in Spearhead... the Lord of Afflictions will be MUCH more useful in regular Age of Sigmar... without one, the two Pusgoyle Blightlords wouldn't be able to join any of the regiments led by any of the heroes I have... so...)
THE PLAN
I don't really have much of a plan... because I don't have much of a force...
SPEARHEAD
As with most Age of Sigmar armies, the first step is to paint up the stuff for a Spearhead army.
The Maggotkin of Nurgle Bleak Host Spearhead force includes:

The next step would be putting together enough for a Path to Glory force...

Lord of Aflictions' Regiment

Nurgle Daemon Regiment

There are some cool-looking units available...
I do like their faction terrain - the feculent gnarlmaw. I have no idea what it does in the game... but it looks kind of weird, so I'd like to get one at some point. I've kind of wanted one for ages - just to have as some weird terrain. Should have gotten it ages ago, when it was, like, half the price it is now!!
I probably don't need any more character/heroes... but I do like the Sloppity Bilepiper... and if I were to ever build this up to 2000 points, I'd probably pick up a Great Unclean One.
