Age of Sigmar - Sylvaneth - Dryads

I've always liked these dryad miniatures. I had a sprue of four of them years back - got them in a lot trading... something... for.. something...?

I was reluctant to ever buy any for Age of Sigmar as they come in boxes of 16m which is completely useless... they are fielded in units of 10 that can be reinforced to 20... The come on sprue of 4... I do not understand why they don't just sell them in boxes of 20!? The only multiple of 10 or 20 you can make with boxes of 16 is five of those $70 a piece boxes makes 80... and who wants EIGHTY Dryads?!

So I was pretty happy when I saw the Outcast Spitegrove had 20 of them!

Twenty Dryads

They can be fielded as two units of ten or a single unit of twenty... Not sure what these will be fielded as just yet...

All of the Sylvaneth, so far...

I have a Drycha Hamadreth model on the workbench that is very nearly finished as well... and still have a Spirit of Durthu to assemble. (I also have 15 more Spite-Revenants or Tree-Revenats to assemble and paint... but I'm going to let Amanda play a few more games with both and see which she'd like MORE of before I decide how to assemble those!)

I have a feeling, however after this weekend I will be very distracted by all the Warhammer Quest: Darkwater models...

Tomorrow I'm hoping to play another game in our Path to Glory - Methervale Campaign with Amanda!

I played TWO games of Age of Sigmar with Orion yesterday! I'll try to get those game reports up by the end of the weekend...

  1. They look good. Not that there's a whole lot you can do with what are basically mobile trees, as far as fancy painting goes.
