A Bit of Everything WW2-ish

Had a productive twenty-four hours since Amanda and the kids have been away…

(Remember: click on the pictures for a bigger version)

Some old Harlequin (now Black Tree Design) Soviets…

More old Harlequin (now Black Tree Design) Americans…

A couple more Regina Rifles – these are a mix of Bolt Action Miniatures and Crusader Miniatures - and the Missing Mortarman from West Wind. This finishes off two rifle sections (and the mortar section). Since the Command section is also finished and the thirs one started, I’ll probably finish up the last couple to complete the platoon in short order.

Of course that will be a full strength platoon, which I doubt ever existed in reality… So I got thinking I should pick up another platoon command, a few more brens, and a company command – then I’ll be able to field a full (understrength) COMPANY. Of course you know where this leads to… I’ll eventually have to pick up the remaining riflemen to make a FULL STRENGTH Company…

Oh it’s a slippery slope…

…and finally some more armed civilian/partisans - these are a mix of Bolt Action Miniatures and Artizan Designs

Coming soon on Tim’s Miniature Wargaming Blog:

The cleaning and sorting rages on… well… sort of… When I get bored of painting (rarely) or am waiting for finish to dry or just need to stretch the legs…

I should also get to cleaning out the garage and building some CD drawers like I said I would… Of course cleaning out the garage will mean I can start building some new terrain too… or do a bit of casting….?

  1. Either way ..... you win with a cold beer in hand

  2. Excellent stuff! Love the cleaning images as well, nice to see the context behind the madness! I have much the same issue, and the way I deal with it is by limiting the amount of available flat open spaces where I would be temped to drop stuff :) But you inspire me to do some cleaning for myself as well!

  3. Wow, what a productive afternoon for you; nice partisans!

I'm with Neldoreth--limited flat space limits mess. I'm keen to continue to reduce my clutter, but there is only so fast I can paint down the lead pile!
