This is “Slug Eat Your Face” from Thunderbolt Mountain.
Nasty piece of work, eh?
To give you a sense of scale and proportion – here it is up against aa Anlgo-Saxon Thane from Crusader Miniatures.
Coming soon on Tim’s Miniature Wargaming Blog:
A couple more minis for Mike… Bah… I don’t know what’ll be after that… Back to the sculpting project? Zulus? Napoleonics? Scots? Skythians? Dwarves? I have no idea…
What an awesome insane figure that is! Reminds me, partially, of John Tenniel's illustration of the Jabberwocky... but in slug form!
ReplyDeletereally unusual!
ReplyDeleteNow he's a handsome chap!! Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI had a couple of these bastards in the garden this year but they seemed more interested in cauliflower than faces.
ReplyDeleteDamn, Bob!? Were they really THAT big?!
ReplyDeleteSir Timothy sums it up well -- awesome insane!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Thank you for reminding me -- I wanted to order this. I love the whole concept of the range he is sculpting. :D
ReplyDeleteI know... I also have the Flying Pink Pony Unicorn with Magical Ballerina Fairy (and a few bushwoolies that came as bonus freebies!) - go there and read the description, including the conversation between Theo and Nora that inspired the Flying Pink Pony with Magical Ballerina Fairy (and rainbow lasers!) - I swear my own children have had this exact conversation.... except maybe substitute "dinosaurs" or "dragons" for "moles"...
ReplyDeleteI also totally love the 54mm Napoleonics... Now THAT's a range of Naps I could get behind!
(the 54mm Napoleonics I mentioned, in case anyone's looking, are under "resin")
