Artemis, Amazon Archers and the last of the Satyrs

I was up way to late last night… (or early this morning, however you want to look at it…)

Please ignore big blobs of still-drying carpenters glue... i was... a bit impatient to get these up...

(Remember: click on the pictures for a bigger version)

Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt (from Wargames Foundry)

An Amazon Archers element for DBA/HOTT (also from Wargames Foundry).

Satyr Archer elements for DBA/HOTT (from Crocodile Games - Wargods of Olympus).

I have no desire to have an “Satyr Army” at any point (that would be Silly!). These chaps will be a small allied contingent in some Greek Myth or Narnian army… or maybe a foot element for the Centaur army – to deal with anything that might hide in bad-going…?

More Satyr Archers (again… Wargames Foundry)

Here’s all the (individually-based) Satyrs I have (Front Row - from left to right; Foundry, Crocodile Games, Black Tree Design, Foundry, Crocodile Games, Back Row; All Foundry...)

Dang, I’d meant to keep one aside and add a scarf to one with a little green stuff for a “Mr. Tumnus” to put on an element with Lucy (for the planned Narmian HOTT army…). Guess I’ll just have to get some MORE Satyrs at some point. The ones from Eureka Miniatureslook nice…

I should get some with spears and such for a Warband or two as well at some point…

Some other random Ancient Greek dude (from the Foundry)

Coming soon on Tim’s Miniature Wargaming Blog:

More Greek Goodness.

A new draft of DBA 3.0 was posted yesterday… I didn’t even get to trying the previous draft!? Hopefully I’ll get a chance to kick around the latest. I can’t get my head around how the side-support will work… Is that going to rock or suck for spear on spear conflicts (like hoplite warfare!)
