Another Regiment Raised

Another full battalion of French regulars rolled off the line today plus a few other things…

(Remember: click on the pictures for a bigger version)

Le Regiment du Guyenne. Most of the figures were modeled and cast by John Bertolini (There is a single officer from Rafm in there, though).

I painted up some spare Frenchmen on sigle ases for use in skirmish games or as “change” should we play rules that track individual casualties.

Another of the “Fat” Governor’s “Creepy assistants (Old Glory) and a Highlander (foundry)

Some of my original French regiments got a few touch-ups this week too. One regiment had the colour of it’s waistcoat changed (as I realized it was wrong), another had their cap lace changed to match the others, and most got new Regimental Colours and a King’s Colour.

Stay tuned for some French Regiments (and “creepy assistants”)!

  1. Don't you love it when you're able to "grow" a nation's forces? I do.

  2. ...outstanding stuff - I'm also impressed by your painting output!

  3. It is kind of fun, yeah...

the painting output is probably going to taper a bit this month as I'm starting to work on modellig some new masters!
