Bolt Action Soviet BA-64

More equipment to escalate my east front campaign

(Remember: click on the pictures for a bigger version)

This is a Soviet BA-64 Armoured car from Bolt Action Miniatures. Very nice kit. The commander was separate – it was actually a T-34 commander that I carved off the turret hatch (which was integral to the figure) that he was leaning on.

Another view.

I’d totally like to pick up another one at some point and will definitely look at some of their other resin kits!

Coming soon on Tim’s Miniature Wargaming Blog:

Russians… more Russians… or Germans… (then maybe some Bobbies, Canucks, Japs, Diggers and other odds and ends…)

Soon we will be able to do that 1:72 scale complete reenactment of the Russian Front we have been talking about...

  2. I only have about 6000 more AFVs to buy and paint for the Russians... mind you, if they weren't SERVICEABLE should I really represent them... I guess we'd have to roll daily to see if they work, so... yeah...

  3. Oh and a couple more million russian infantrymen...

seems a waste since a million or so will just surrender within the first week...

  5. I figured you'd arrange for us to use dundurn...? Get some of your range control guys to dig ditches for the important rivers... dump a pile of broken bricks wherever a city would be...

Sounds like a deal. The advantage is that we can play 1:56 East Front on a 1:1 (extremely realistic) map of Dundurn! Only gaming table that includes a water table!
