This is the second Sohei Buntai for Ronin – Skirmish Wargames in the Age of the Samurai that we will be using in the 10th Annual Wargaming Birthday Bash/Winter Wargaming Weekend. All of the miniatures are from The Assault Group - one of which I converted with a teppo I picked up years ago from Dixon Miniatures (I think?)

DeleteI've seen Monks illustrated in black (often with a deep purple or blue sheen), orange or yellow. I've found no mention as to whether they indicated anything like seniority or anything, but I've used the different colours in this buntai to colour code the various ranks of Sohei...
Very nice Tim, I've never heard of these figures or seen the strange uniforms.
