More New Stuff

A couple more items rolling off the workbench this week. I am almost done a battalion of French Regulars as well. I’d be even closer to being done if I hadn’t painted their cuffs, collars, and waistcoats blue instead of the RED that they’re supposed to be. DOH!

(Remember: click on the pictures for a bigger version)

RAFM French Cavalry for North America. I know, I know; they were just used for patrolling and as messengers - but I thought it’d be fun for a dash of colour. They will be treated as light dragoons and of very little importance or use, just fun to have around….

The Officer for the Marines, and a Royal Navy officer. Both are Old Glory; the Marine officer came with the pack of Marines, the Royal Navy Officer was one of the “Creepy Assistants” from Old Glory’s “Fat Governor and Creepy Assistants” pack from their Pirates line.

Stay tuned for some French Regiments!

  1. The OG Pirate range's Governor's Mounted Bodyguard are useful for French generals et al. because they've got the "plumage" on the tricornes and wear their skirts loose.

I haven't painted or converted any yet, but there are several with pistols that could be converted to holding marshals' batons. And you will need them to go with your box of 25mm SYW French.
