On Saturday evening, I finished up the miniatures for Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Crypt Hunters (in hopes of playing it on Sunday)!
The Crypt Hunters: Orris Suresight, Eryk Hauntscorn, Astrid the Deliverer, and Valiant, The Gryph-Hound!
Opposing these are 10 Chainrasps
Chainrasps
I also finished up the six Chainrasps from the bonus copy of the Thorns of the Briar Queen I got in the Rivals of the Mirrored City box, back in March. (But I didn't paint the additional Briar Queen model!?)
Together, I have a horde of 16 Chainrasps. Not quite two whole unites or a fully reinforced unit for Age of Sigmar. I had through I'd use them as bonus Chainrasps for Crypt Hunters, but having read the rules, I probably won't. I'm pretty sure the 10 that come with the box are meant to be a hard limit - it states in the rules if you would place another on the board and there aren't any, you don't place one... I expect it would get rather more difficult if the board were absoloutely swarming with dozens of them!
If I add in the Chainrasps from the original Thorns of the Briar Queen, I now have a horde of 22 Chainrasps...
So many spooky-ooky ghosties!
I have only about a dozen Nighthaunts to finish up and they'd ALL be done... and then I'd have about 1000 point Age of Sigmar army (and... three different Warhammer Underworlds warbands?)
