Warhammer Quest: Darkwater - Blight-Templars

Why would I do something like work on Pox-Wretches that show up on 5 of 16 encounter cards - or the Pestigors that show up on 6 of 16 encounter cards - in Act I when I can work on a unit that only appears on exactly ZERO of the encounter cards for Act I (but do make an appearance on one - of three possible - Boss Battle cards...)  

(actually, I WAS working on the Pestigors, desperately trying to get them done... but failed to do so...) 

In my defence, these were pretty simple... they're 90% ARMOUR - which was a bit of work layering up the rust and corrosion... but it was less changing of paints and thinking about what needs to go where than the Pox-Wretches... and there were only the three of them... 

Blight-Templars


Mulgoth the Cleaver and the Blight-Templars (I'm pretty sure he's meant to be the leader of the Blight-Templars! 

All the Maggotkin of Nurgle/Warhammer Quest: Darkwater hostiles , so far... (I forgot to include the Mire Kelpies!) 

(Oh, yeah... that pic includes Shaman Foulhoof... who I have finished, but haven't posted yet, I thought I'd include him with the Pestigors... but they're not all done... so maybe he'll get a post all of his own after this one!?)


The Blight-Templars are similar in size to the outgoing Putrid Blightkings... 

I still have Belga the Cystwitch, two Cankerborn, eight Pestigors, and fourteen Pox-Wretches, two treasure tokens, two living rot tokens and three heroes to finish up (Kelthannor, Drasher Vorn, and Jacobus Vyne with Wisper) for Warhammer Quest: Darkwater... 

And I still have four Pusgoyle Blightlords, five putrid Blightkings, ten Roomier Creed and a Harbinger of Decay to finish up from the Shudderblight Cyst (AND the Feculent Gnarlmaw)... hopefully I'll get through most of this in Q1 of January 2026 - along with most of the Sylvaneth stuff!
