Hot on the heels of the Putrid Blightkings, these are the last of the miniatures for Warhammer Quest: Shadows Over Hammerhal. We are now ready to play!! Y'know, as soon as I find people that actually want to play!
Heroes of Hammerhal (Golnir Coalbeard and Archimaine were previously painted, but I've included them anyway!)
Arvios Sunhelm - Lord-Castellant of the Hammers of Sigmar
Alnaryn - Aelven Loremaster
All the painted examples of the Loremaster show them in Gold armour and blue cloaks - which just looked too similar to the Hammers of Sigmar Stormcast Eternals... So I tried to go with something more like the more recent Lumineth...
Vizrin Kyre - Black Ark Fleetmaster
(Reserved for Woody, if he ever shows up to play here!)
As all the hero characters from The Silver Tower are playable in Shadows Over Hammerhal, all of these are potentially available. Back when they were first released, you could buy a pack of cards with about forty other heroes that could be played in either game - just stats for a bunch of existing Citadel Age of Sigmar miniatures. It would be super fun to find a pack... but on ebay sellers seem to want more than buying a new game of Warhammer Quest for the pack, so... probably not going to find one of those any time soon.
For Warhammer Quest: Cursed City they changed the system enough that the character cards aren't interchangeable. I did find a PDF of rules for all these characters in the newer system (i.e. a character cards so these could all be used in Cursed City). I can't remember where I found it, though... like, if it were an OFFICIAL one downloaded from GW or something someone made up and posted on BGG, or something.
I have not found any PDFs of Cursed City heroes with stats for the earlier Warhammer Quest...
You can see ALL of the Warhammer Quest miniatures completed, so far, at my Age of Sigmar - Warhammer Quest Miniatures Page.
Now that these are done, it's time to switch gears and paint more Age of Sigmar miniatures but for a different game: Age of Sigmar... like... the fantasy battle game. In less than a week the rules will be available for download and battlepacks shortly thereafter! In a little less than two weeks the Skaventide box will be released and I hope to have the Hedonites of Slaanesh Vanguard box finished and ready for some Spearhead Battles!!!
I don't know if I'll be able to do it... there are SO MANY DETAILS on these freaking Hedonites!?
