This game was played almost a month ago... sorry... got a bit behind on these...
As we're finally taking on Radukar the Wolf THIS WEEK, I figured it was time to finish these up!!
As the Influence Level of the Wolf had grown in the last few weeks, it was time to go on a Hunt Journey and break up some more of Radukar's power structure!
In this game Finnegan was playing Brutogg Corpse-Eater and Dagnai Holdenstock. Amanda was playing Qulathis the Exile and Glaurio ven Alten III. (As ever, I was the Game Master, controlling all the hostiles and keeping the game moving!)
The streets and alleys of Ulfenkarn made up this evening's hunting grounds!
Dagnai and Qulathis snuck up behind a pair of Kosargi Nightguard and tried shooting them in the back!
This seemed to only annoy them and Brutogg was required to rescue the pair!
Before Glaruio even made it out of the Landing Zone, he was attacked by a zombie that no one had apparently noticed lurking in the corner!
Getting kind of crowded here!
Glaurio dashed out of the Landing Zone to join the others and aided in taking down the second Kosargi Nightgruard!
Then they were being swarmed by rats and a patrol of the Ulfenwatch.
Qulathis moved to block some MORE rats that were trying to sneak around their flank!
Next a pair of Vyrkos Blood-Born vampires arrived.
Having scattered the rats, Qulathis moved in from the flank and shot at the vampires!
It was Dagnai Holdenstock, Vampire Slayer, that really did the work here... his gravesand infused axe made short work of them!
[crickets chirruping]
"Um... guys...? Where'd they all go...?"
A moment later there was a swarm of bats and rats to deal with! Glaurio and Qlathis both shot at the bats...
Then Brutogg charged past and stomped most of the rats underfoot!
And... that was it... ten champions slain! Time to get to the Extraction Point!
Except there was a Zombie waiting for them in the extraction point!
The zombie was dealt with and the heroes made good their escape!
With the successful Hunt Journey, the Influence Level was brought down to five. As it was still Higher than the Fear Level, it was decided to do another Hunt Journey next week.
The Extraction Event gained some Inspiration points the Heroes will start the next game with! Yay!
Stay Tuned for the next game report which should be finished shortly!! Three more to do to get all caught up!! If I get two more finished up on Monday and a third on Tuesday, I'll be all caught up before we begin THE FINAL ASSAULT on Radukar's Lair (Spoiler, I guess; the heroes survive the next three Journeys and gain the experience to make it to Level Four!)
