This weekend I finished off BOTH of the Idoneth Deepkin warbands I have for Warhammer Underworlds. Amanda's been asking me to paint them up ever since Nic and Orion started showing up with their Cyreni's Razors...
Cyreni's Razors are the more recent of the two, being released last December with the Deathgorge box.
Cyreni's Razors
Cyreni of the Abyss - Wizard-Leader of the warband
Alathyrr - Namarti Thrall
Renglaith - Namarti Thrall
Cephanyr - Big Squid
Hopefully these will see some action later today...
Excellent painting.
ReplyDeleteVery spiky and colorful minis.
Thank you!
DeleteSo many spines and spikes...
Beautifully done! Love the color selections and way it was executed.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteAnother great warband, and now you have a little unit of Deepkin to use for some other sort of game too.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteThat was initially my hope - that a lot of these Warbands could form the core of Warcry units... and in cases, such as this, where the faction has TWO warbands (that I have both of) might be enough to make a complete Warcry warband on their own! I'm not sure this alone makes up a warcry warband... They do, eventually, make up Warcry stats for all of the Warhammer Underworlds warbands... but they're sometimes hard to track down (published in White Dwarf, etc). With the previous edition of Warcry, they were all compiles in a book... but have not done so for the most recent edition. Some of them end up on the Warcrier (independent website devoted to Warcry)
I supposed they could be used in Song of Blades and Heroes...?
I definitely have a small Age of Sigmar army I can cobble together just from all the Stormcast Warbands from Warhammer Underworlds warbands!
